Every community in the Cape has a woman like her. The Women at Heart Awards exist to find her, name her, and celebrate her.
Heart FM is calling for nominations of extraordinary Capetonian women who have gone far beyond the norm to make a difference. Women who lead. Women who lift others. Women whose work changes lives, often quietly, and often without recognition.
Across ten categories, we are honouring the women who make the Cape what it is. Nominate the woman who inspires you, and let’s say her name out loud.
THE CATEGORIES
Ten categories, each recognising a different kind of extraordinary.
- Woman of the Year. Recognising overall excellence, leadership, and impact.
- Leading Woman in Business. Honouring innovation and success in business ownership, entrepreneurship, or startups.
- Community Champion. Celebrating meaningful contributions to communities or social causes.
- Education Award. Recognising a woman making a meaningful impact through education, mentorship, or learning, helping to shape and empower future generations.
- Woman in Media, Arts and Culture. Celebrating a woman shaping the cultural life of the Cape through media, the arts, or content creation.
- Health and Wellness Award. Honouring a woman who champions physical, mental, or emotional wellbeing, inspiring others to live healthier, more balanced lives.
- Sisterhood Award. Celebrating a woman who uplifts, supports, and empowers other women, creating a strong sense of community and connection.
- Courage and Resilience Award. Awarded to a woman who has overcome challenges with strength and determination, inspiring others through her journey.
- Fearless Female Award. Recognising a bold and confident woman who takes risks, breaks barriers, and fearlessly pursues her goals.
- Lifetime Achievement Award. Honouring a lifetime of service, excellence, and impact in the Cape.
HOW TO NOMINATE
- Complete the nomination form below. It takes two minutes.
- Nominees must be women resident in Cape Town.
- Tell us, in up to 200 words, why she deserves to be recognised. The motivation is what our judges read, so make it count.
- You may nominate in more than one category, but please submit a separate nomination for each.
