Acting National Police Commissioner Tebello Dimpane says Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya is no longer an employee of the South African Police Service.
Dimpane says Sibiya’s legal representative tendered his resignation this morning immediately after his disciplinary hearing commenced.
He says because Sibiya had an ongoing disciplinary case at the time, his departure is regarded as a dishonorable discharge, and his employment has been terminated with immediate effect.
