A 13-year-old learner is expected to appear in the Somerset West Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday after two pupils were stabbed at Helderberg High School.
The incident happened on Friday morning, 23 October. The two injured learners, both aged 14, were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have confirmed that the teenager was arrested and faces two counts of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He has since been released into the care of a parent.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
