An organiser for the uMkhonto weSizwe Party, has been shot dead in KwaZulu-Natal.
Lastborn Shazi was reportedly shot and killed on last night.
In a statement, the MKP called on the Provincial Killings Task Team to urgently investigate the incident.
The party adds that police must establish the circumstances surrounding the killing and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
His death comes just mere hours before South Africans head to the polls for the Local Government Elections.
