Police in the Western Cape are on high alert ahead of June 30th, as several groups across the province prepare to protest against illegal immigration.
The date also marks the deadline set by the March and March movement for undocumented foreign nationals to leave South Africa.
Police held a media briefing this afternoon, where officers outlined deployment plans and appealed to protesters to remain peaceful and within the bounds of the law.
