With the water restrictions expected to come into effect, Capetonians have shared their different views.
The Western Cape Government has advised municipalities to proceed implementing water restrictions, to protect water security.
Level 1 water restrictions will come into effect by 15 November, and with Level 2 restrictions by 1 December, in higher-risk water supply systems.
The provincial dam levels slightly dropped to 78.9 percent, last week.
