The Western Cape Government is assessing the impact of South Africa’s exclusion from AGOA.
The African Growth and Opportunity Act, offered the country duty-free access to the U.S. market.
In a statement, Premier Alan Winde said the province will continue to look for new partners as the impact is assessed.
Winde also highlighted how important a trading partner the United States is to the province.
