A woman has died and nine others have been injured in a four-vehicle crash on Durban’s M4 Ruth First Highway.
The collision happened this morning on the northbound carriageway near Hyper by the Sea, after a bakkie overturned and landed in the path of other vehicles.
One vehicle caught fire, while three others were extensively damaged.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says a woman believed to be in her 40s was found with fatal injuries.
Nine people were taken to hospital, with Metro Police confirming none sustained serious injuries.
