The bus operations have agreed to continue to transport learners across Western Cape on Wednesday.

The decision was taken following the urgent talks held between the department and the operators, yesterday.

The drivers refused to transport learners to schools at the start of the fourth school term.

As result, more than 21 000 pupils were left stranded across the Cape.

The operators demand a fuel relief, amid the surge in diesel prices.

Education MEC Jaco Londt says they don’t want any further disruptions at schools.
