Western Cape police spokesperson Constable Ndakhe Gwala has confirmed the arrest of five gang-affiliated suspects following a double murder in Steenberg earlier.
Gwala says two men, aged 23 and 37, have been fatally shot in Military Road at about half past twelve, and the suspects have fled in a red VW Polo.
She says the men, aged between 27 and 40, will appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court once charged.
