The Madlanga Commission has confirmed that testimony of Feroz Khan has been postponed to a date yet to be determined.
It’s spokesperson, Jeremy Michaels says that Khan did appear “before it (Madlanga Commission) remotely and in-camera this morning.”
However, proceedings were postponed after reports emerged about the fatal shooting of a relative last night in Gauteng.

Gauteng police confirmed that they are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder following the shooting that took place on the R21 highway near OR Tambo International Airport last night.
Reports identified the deceased victim as Preggy Padayachee. Who was the uncle-in-law of Khan.

PREVIOUS TESTIMONY POSTPONEMENTS
Khan’s testimony before the Commission has been delayed several times before due:
- ongoing health issues
- recovery from a shooting incident in June
- in-camera applications regarding confidentiality and other legal disputes
Due to multiple missed appearances and defiance of a subpoena – initially ordered for 1 July, with subsequent dates resechuled to 28 September – the Commission also announced it would lay criminal charges against the Dismissed Crime Intelligence Deputy Head (Feroz Khan).
