The DA’s Geordin Hill-Lewis is warning that voting for smaller parties could hand Cape Town to the ANC and EFF.
He says that would lead to coalition chaos and collapse of service delivery.
The DA’s main warning in Blouberg today was about coalition chaos. Mayoral Candidate Geordin Hill-Lewis says smaller parties split the vote and give the ANC and EFF a chance to govern by the back door.
He says they’ve seen what happened in Joburg and Ekurhuleni.
“When coalitions collapse, service delivery stops” Hill-Lewis says.
The DA leader adds that if the ANC and EFF get to govern Cape Town, they will mess up what works.
He further adds that the only way to stop that is an outright DA majority….
