Cape Town Law Enforcement have confiscated a new type of gun for the first time.
The gun resembles a smart phone, and folds out to be used as a firearm.
The City says it’s designed to allow users to carry a concealed weapon, without it being recognised as a firearm.
Mayco member for Safety and Security, JP Smith, says officers made the discovery while carrying out duties in Manenberg this morning….
Officers searched the suspect and his vehicle and uncovered a prohibited firearm resembling a cellphone, along with three sachets of tik and half a Mandrax tablet…..
The suspect was arrested, and the matter was handed over to Manenberg SAPS for further investigation and processing.
