Eerste River in Cape Town has been rocked by two disturbing incidents over the past 48 hours.
In the first, which happened in Forest Village, a mob of locals killed a 42-year-old man who had been accused of kidnapping and raping a 3-year-old girl. The child was later found.
Police have opened a murder docket and are appealing to community members with information to come forward.
