Worcester siblings Lesrien and Peter Filander remain missing, two weeks after travelling to Goodwood to look for work.
There’s been speculation on social media that the pair may have been trafficked and taken to a premises in Goodwood. These claims have not been verified.
The siblings travelled with a friend, who later returned home without them.
She reportedly says he knows nothing about their whereabouts.
Heart FM News spoke to the family today, who declined to comment.
The family says the siblings’ mother has been hospitalised amid concern over her missing children.
Their aunt, Geraldene Louw, says it’s unlike the pair to stay away from home.
Worcester police spokesperson, Vatiswa Jacobs said Goodwood police went to the premises but did not find the siblings there.
Western Cape Missing Persons Unit’s Lezanne Basson is urging anyone who comes across the siblings to take them to the nearest police station.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the family on 063 947 5301.
