Marches are expected to take place across the nation, with the Cape Town leg proceeding from the Goodwood Train Station to GrandWest Casino, where the demonstrators will hand over a memorandum of demands.
COSATU is also protesting against mass job losses, high living costs, and attacks on workers’ rights.
