A 38 year old female suspect, facing charges of fraud and forgery is expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrates Court today.
It is reported that the suspect visited Barons Volkswagen in Tokai back in April 2019, and applied for a credit to purchase a fleet of eight VW Polo vehicles.
She presented false financial statement on behalf of her company – and successfully bought the vehicles.
This resulted in the financial loss of over 1 million rand.
She has been arrested since.
